What will you taste during our champagne tastings?
In the span of a couple of hours, you will taste 5 different champagnes and virtually visit the wonderful region of Champagne, France!
You’ll try a Blanc de Blancs, a Blanc de Noirs, a Rosé, a Non-Vintage, and an amazing Vintage champagne.
And yes, you will learn what these words all mean. Jasmina selects bottles from the best small, family-owned producers. These champagne houses each have a strong identity and history.
You’ll enjoy learning about them as much as you’ll enjoy tasting their products. This tasting will set you right up if ever you decide to go to Épernay or Reims, the capital of the region.
What will you learn during our champagne tastings?
What won’t you learn? You’ll learn the lingo of champagne such as what is the difference between brut and extra -brut? What is dosage? Jasmina will walk you through the MĂ©thode Champenoise, aka how champagne is made. From the vineyard to the bubbles, this session will cover it all. How to perfect opening a bottle of champagne, to service and selection of glassware, to food pairings, no stone will be left unturned – or bottle uncorked, as the case may be.Â
Jasmina really makes you feel comfortable and at ease to learn about something fancy like champagne. I thought I knew what champagne was, but Jasmina really showed me what I’d been missing!

For what level of expertise are the champagne tastings intended?
These champagne tastings are intended for any and all levels of expertise. Regardless of what you know or don’t, Jasmina will make sure that you come out of this tasting day with the knowledge fit for a pro!
What is the duration of a typical champagne tasting session?
The typical tasting tour lasts between 2 hours and 2 and a half hours. However, since these tastings are private, Jasmina can accommodate a time schedule and day that works for you.
Are champagne tastings suitable for pregnant women?
Unfortunately, champagne tastings will have to wait for pregnant women. That being said, if you are pregnant and would like to accompany your group, let Jasmina know in advance and she will provide alcohol-free drinks.
Do you propose alcohol-free tastings?
Jasmina doesn’t host alcohol-free tastings but she absolutely can offer some non-alcoholic alternatives during the champagne tasting.
Can attendees purchase champagne during the private tasting events?
Unfortunately, these private tastings do not come with a purchase on-site option. However, let Jasmina know what you like and she will be sure to give you all the details you need to order and ship the bottles you liked to your home.
